MISSION

The goal of End Gun Violence Michigan is to pass common sense gun violence prevention laws in Michigan that will save lives.

From big cities like Detroit, to college campuses like MSU,  to small towns like Oxford, all of our communities have suffered from the epidemic of gun violence for far too long. We are tired of losing our loved ones to gun violence and suicide, and always hearing that nothing can be done. We're tired of the gun lobby winning the day in Lansing and weakening our gun laws for forty years.

So, in January of 2022, 130 leaders from across the state came together and voted to start a new organization: a coalition that would bring together the key organizations working on gun violence prevention in Michigan. Together, we can be powerful advocates for gun violence legislation, with a united strategy to overcome the power of the gun lobby.

Join more than 50 organizations in Michigan, working to end gun violence for ALL our communities.
